Following the February opening of Denver Beer Co.’s fourth taproom in Lowry, the future location of its fifth taproom on Main Street in downtown Littleton is expected to be complete by late fall 2023. The local craft brewery has leased the building at 2409 Main Street and is in the process of renovating the historic building and patio to house its newest taproom location.
Denver Beer Co.’s Littleton location will include a 2,100-square-foot interior space to house a taproom and kitchen, plus a 1,600-square-foot all-season patio which will include both outdoor seating and enclosed seating. The taproom will have the capacity to hold 86 guests in the interior space as well as an additional 125 guests in the exterior patio areas. In addition, the new space will feature fire pits, patio heaters and misters, bike parking, and outdoor game spaces.
Denver Beer Co. has selected Gensler as the architect to design the space and Spectrum General Contractors, Inc. to manage construction. Denver Beer Co. estimates the new brewery will create 40 jobs, including managers, bartending staff and food service staff.
Denver Beer Co. Littleton will showcase a variety of rotating beers on tap including Princess Yum Yum, Graham Cracker Porter, Juicy Freak IPA, Backyard Buzz Honey Wheat, and other flagship brews as well as beers brewed specifically for the south-Denver location. In addition, the beverage menu will feature non-alcoholic beverages including Easy Living craft hop water and house-made lemonade. The brewery will offer table service from an in-house scratch kitchen featuring seasonal menus to pair with rotating craft taps, kid-friendly fare, and vegetarian options.
“This little spot on Main Street is a perfect extension of Denver Beer Co. with its spacious patio and position in the heart of the community,” shared Patrick Crawford, co-founder of Denver Beer Co. “Downtown Littleton is a thriving business community and we are looking forward to pouring pints for new friends and neighbors.”
