Denver Property Among Top 50 U.S. Industrial Asset Sales in 2022

As the industrial real estate sector is still going strong, investment giants continue to scoop up the best-in-class industrial real estate assets in select locations across the United States. With that in mind, using CommercialEdge market research data, CommercialSearch set out to identify the Top 50 U.S. Industrial Property Sales of 2022 in terms of yearly sales volumes and average prices per square foot.

Denver highlights:

  • Roughly $1.8 billion worth of industrial assets traded here, which ranked Denver 12th among the markets surveyed. This placed the city roughly on par with Boston ($1.8 billion), and closely behind the Bay Area ($1.9 billion).
  • With a price tag of $158 million, the sale of 3801 Brighton Blvd. property ranked 28th among the top industrial sales of the year in 2022.
  • Sale prices for Denver industrial space last year averaged $163 per square foot — the 10th priciest among the top U.S. markets we surveyed.
  • Overall, California contributed the most entries to the list of top 50 sales (16 positions in the ranking), followed by Pennsylvania (seven positions).
