According to hotel data firm STR, Denver’s hotel construction has slowed considerably in the past year, down to 4,091 hotel rooms under construction in September, compared to 4,470 hotel rooms that were under construction a year prior. In June Denver was ranked seventh in the country for year-over-year new hotel room construction growth, with 4,872 hotel rooms under construction.
