Larry H. Miller is proposing a $2 million dollar remodel of their existing LHM Dodge Ram Cherry Creek auto dealership located at 2727 S. Havana St. in Denver. According to documents filed to the city, construction consists of the removal of existing structures, the construction of a new addition to the facility and site work.
Anderson Whalen Associates is the engineer for the project. John Mahoney is the architect.
Demolition includes the removal of the existing showroom, sales offices and the existing exterior covered vehicle display area. A portion of the second floor will be converted to second-floor parts storage. The stairs at the existing office area will be removed and new stairs will be located so that existing non-compliance issues will be resolved.
The building addition will be for the new showroom, sales and business offices that will integrate with the existing metal repair shop building. The proposed site work includes the re-grading and paving of a portion of the site and the relocation of parking and accessible access to the building. There is no work proposed for the interior of the existing vehicle repair shop.
