Desirable Cherry Creek Office Building Sells for $55M

Financial House, a 73,000-square-foot office building located on the North West corner of 2nd and Detroit, at 205 Detroit Street in Cherry Creek, sold last week for $55 million.

Denver-based Bow River Capital + BMC Investments sold the 100 percent leased building to Denver-based EverWest Real Estate Investors. Current tenants include: Amazon Books, BLDG Management, BMC Investments, Bow River Capital, ROI Rocket/eAccountable, UBS, and WeWork.

According to the Denver Business Journal, the deal closed without a broker. BMC and Bow River reportedly spent approximately $40 million constructing the Financial House.

The recently completed, all-glass, eight-story building in the heart of Cherry Creek North, was built in 30 short months. Haselden Construction was the general contractor and 4240 Architects designed the building.
