According to the Denver Post, DIA has fired Contractor Great Hall Partners. The $1.8 billion Great Hall renovation project has been severely delayed — a problem with weak concrete set back a significant portion of the project by several months.
The 2021 completion date will no longer be met and the airport is now hoping to complete the project by 2025.
Great Hall Partners has 90 days to transition out of the project and vacate the site. A new contractor will be selected by DIA in the coming months.
Great Hall Partners is a partnership that includes Ferrovial Airports, Saunders Construction and JLC Infrastructure that signed a Development Agreement with Denver International Airport (DEN) for the redevelopment of the Jeppesen Terminal.
