FORT COLLINS – Tech enabled marketing software and service company Madwire® have signed a 102,000-square-foot lease at 3405 South Timberline Road in Fort Collins. The company currently employs 500 people at a nearby location on Harmony Road but expects to double its Northern Colorado operations to 1,200 employees over the next three years.
Peter Kast and Pete Kelly with CBRE in Fort Collins represented the building’s landlord, 2001 Danfield, LLC. The lease commences in November 2018.
“Madwire is a company that prioritizes their employee experience and company culture, so it was important for them to find the right space and to stay close to their current office. As demand for Madwire’s services continues to rise, 3405 South Timberline was one of the only buildings in the area that was large enough to accommodate the company’s impressive growth,” said Peter Kast, senior vice president, CBRE.
In 2016 Madwire moved from three sites in Loveland to consolidate under one roof in Fort Collins, a relocation that reduced commute times for roughly 65 percent of its employee base at the time. The company has been recognized multiple times on Glassdoor’s national Best Places to Work list, ranking No. 1 in 2015 among small-to medium-sized companies. It has also been named an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company in America for five years straight. Madwire specializes in designing, developing and launching creative marketing solutions for small business through its marketing platform: Marketing 360®.
“We are excited to begin the renovations on the new space, and our team is extremely excited about the expansion. The new building is less than three miles from our current location, which will still allow for team collaboration. We are especially excited to be able to grow to 1,200 over the next few years with the addition of this building,” said Farra Larimore, public relations director, Madwire.
Located at the northwest corner of Timberline and Horsetooth in Southeast Fort Collins, 3405 South Timberline Road was previously a chip manufacturing facility for LSI Logic
(Avago). 2001 Danfield, LLC, purchased the site in 2016 and began construction to convert it to an office building. The property includes a cafeteria and fitness center and is convenient to bike trails, retail and other services.
Madwire will maintain its current office at 3420 East Harmony Road. The company anticipates moving half of its team to the new building by January 2019, once renovations are complete.
