DPC Companies (DPC), a privately held, well-capitalized real estate firm specializing in acquiring and developing commercial property in Colorado, Arizona and the Rocky Mountain Region, has announced the acquisition of Atrium Plaza. Located at 5675 DTC Blvd, the building was acquired at $5,030,000 and will serve as the new headquarters for DPC Companies.

“In spite of a challenging office market, we remain bullish on ownership of quality office assets in proven locations,” said Christopher King, president and CEO of DPC Companies. “We are witnessing a return to office with workers coming back and utilizing office spaces, with a focus on attractive and spacious workspaces, comfortable and varied amenities, with close proximity to restaurants and services. DPC continues to pursue acquisition of such assets with underwriting that reflects today’s interest rates and economic parameters while considering ever-changing regulatory requirements and long-term capital costs. While there continues to be economic pain associated with investment in office buildings, we believe in the viability and long-term value of commercial real estate.

DPC was drawn to the building’s quality, strong image and prime location. Joining DPC as a tenant will be THK Associates, a renowned Denver-based planning and landscape architectural firm, occupying 8,800 square feet of space.

DPC intends to make minimal improvements to the well-maintained property, including updating the lobby carpet, adding new artwork and enhancing common area furniture and entry landscaping.

This acquisition reflects DPC’s continued growth and strategic investment in commercial real estate. In addition to this new property, DPC maintains holdings in properties such as 4601 DTC, 400 South Colorado, Block 7000 and continues to manage Denver West, ensuring their strong presence and active role in the real estate market.
