Ent Credit Union Campus HQ Tops Out

On Monday, June 1, the final precast beam was placed on the Ent Credit Union Campus Headquarters project in Colorado Springs.

In an effort to maintain social distancing and mitigating the risk of COVID-19, the event was limited to the project team and a small group from Ent. Ben Schlick, senior superintendent for GE Johnson, the general contractor on the project, spoke on the accomplishments the team has reached since they broke ground last October.

Jeff Wilkins, vice president of Strategic Initiatives for Ent Credit Union said, “As Ent expands along the Front Range of Colorado, our new campus headquarters will signal our continued growth and commitment to Coloradans statewide, and will serve as a symbol of our dedication to the Pikes Peak area, our employees and our members.” He added, “A special thank you goes out to the entire GE Johnson team, as well as to Davis Partnership Architects, Shea Properties, and all of our partners on this project, for working together in these unprecedented times to safely and swiftly turn our vision for this building into a reality.”

The project team completed the office building and parking structure foundations for the new 27-acre, five-story facility at the end of January. The next milestone for the project will be the topping out of the parking garage and installing glass windows in the office building. The project is currently scheduled to be complete in spring of 2021.
