Ent Credit Union Hosts Ribbon Cutting for New Colorado Springs Headquarters

On Thursday, August 26, Ent Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of their new headquarters office building in Colorado Springs. The event was attended by the Colorado Springs Mayor, Ent employees, and members of the Colorado Springs Chamber.

GE Johnson was the general contractor for the 27-acre, five-story facility, and Davis Partnership Architects was the design firm. The headquarters building will house about 800 of Ent’s 1,300 employees. GE Johnson broke ground on the project in October of 2019. Shea Properties is the development manager.

The building features a two-level cafeteria that faces Pikes Peak, a fitness center, weight training rooms, modern workstations, private meeting spaces, and several other amenities. The campus is also home to a parking structure with 830 parking spots. Construction included significant site infrastructure improvements and a water feature with 19 separate waterfalls and 600,000 pounds of rock.

“We are very excited to have this relationship with Ent and be a part of the local impact they have on our community. With over 65% of the project’s contractors being based in Colorado Springs, this project showcases Ent and GE Johnson’s commitment to enriching this city,” said GE Johnson Senior Superintendent Ben Schlick.
