EPS Group, Inc. Acquires Fort Collins-Based Engineering Firm

EPS Group, Inc., a full-service consulting firm serving clients across Arizona, Colorado, and the greater Southwest, has announced its acquisition of TST, Inc. Consulting Engineers, a Fort Collins-based firm with more than 48 years of continuous operation in Northern Colorado.

Established in 1977, TST specializes in civil engineering, master planning, construction services, and landscape architecture. The firm is known for designing neighborhoods, public and private infrastructure, parks, and places that respond to the unique challenges of each site and are authentic to Colorado.

The acquisition strengthens EPS Group’s presence in Northern Colorado and expands its ability to serve public and private clients across the Front Range. Together, EPS Group and TST will offer broader technical resources and complementary expertise to support projects from early planning and design through construction.

“EPS Group and TST share a practical, client-focused approach to engineering and design,” said Bryan Kitchen, president, EPS Group Inc. “This acquisition brings together two teams with strong local relationships, technical expertise, and a shared commitment to helping clients deliver projects that serve their communities.” TST’s long-standing presence in Northern Colorado brings deep regional knowledge, collaborative client relationships, and a strong understanding of the communities, infrastructure, and development patterns that shape the area. “For our clients and employees, this is about continuity, capacity, and opportunity,” said Don Taranto, president and CEO, TST Inc. Consulting Engineers. “By joining EPS Group, we gain access to expanded resources while continuing to serve the Northern Colorado communities and clients we know well.”

Clients should expect a seamless transition, with existing project teams, points of contact, and commitments remaining in place. Clients will benefit from deeper technical bench strength, expanded service offerings, and broader regional resources.

The acquisition builds on EPS Group’s 2024 merger with Northern Engineering, which expanded the firm’s presence in Fort Collins and Greeley. Together, these Colorado investments further strengthen EPS Group’s position along the Front Range and broaden its ability to support public and private clients with integrated civil engineering, planning, surveying, landscape architecture, and construction management services.
