Denver, CO – The Advanced Facilities Engineering Conference 2016 took place last week (September 14 – 15, 2016) at the Crowne Plaza Denver Airport Convention Center that included 95 exhibitors and a little over 560 attendees.
AFEC is a trade show and conference designed for building and facility managers and engineers to advance their skills and knowledge in this ever-changing commercial development industry in Colorado. “Attendees were able to earn certificate accreditation, learn new technologies and solutions, network with top leaders in the industry, and shop the latest products and services,” commented Lynn Cramer, Event Manager for AFEC 2016.
Target markets featured at AFEC 2016 included:

- Government

- Data Centers
- Warehouse/Industrial
Each day of the conference included a keynote address. Wednesday offered Paul C. Hutton from Cunningham Group Architecture, and his presentation “No Country for Old Buildings” while Thursday featured, Clayton O. Mitchell, Jr.from Kaiser Permanente, who spoke about “Effective Facility Management and Delegation.”
