Denver, CO – CoreNet Global Colorado Chapter hosted a lunch-time presentation today entitled “Disruptive Innovation & Corporate Real Estate: How Should CRE Respond?” at Workplace Resource. Vik Bangia, Managing Principal at Verum Consulting, LLC, presented to about 50 attendees in an open office forum on global trends and challenges for corporate real estate and disruptive innovation response strategies.
Mr. Bangia opened the presentation by reminding the mixed group of brokers, real estate agents, business developers, contractors and designers that “We’re all in the business of change.” He discussed the differences between sustaining versus disruptive innovation and noted the following possible success areas for CRE:
- Wellness
- Workplace
- Technology
His parting thoughts focused on the next CRE “big disruptors” with a shift towards a “workplace on demand” where CRE companies will be forced to focus on their company brand to retain employees and incentivize the next generation of brokers.
