Fastwalls

DENVERFastwalls, Lochsa Engineering and Done Group — whole building solution suppliers — are pleased to announce the official opening of their Denver headquarters at 9250 E Costilla Ave., in Greenwood Village. The team celebrated by hosting an Open House with several valued clients and friends on June 14, 2017.

“We were blown away by the amount of support received through this transition. We had a great time celebrating at the Open House,” says Principal of Lochsa Engineering Idaho, Riley Mahaffey.

The addition of this office will help to facilitate recent growth in the Denver area and enable the companies to maintain superior customer service to its expanding clientele.

The new office will unite the team, allowing a more collaborative approach and cross-border opportunities. Done Group’s Darren Barnes says, “We can’t imagine working in tandem with any other group of people. Done Group’s success would be non-existent if it weren’t for the constant support and teamwork from Fastwalls and Locsha Engineering.”

“The Fastwalls team has been working hard to promote our brand and grow within the Canadian market for the past several years,” says Fastwalls CEO and founder, Ron Barnes, “And we are looking forward to our continued expansion into the United States, and welcome every new opportunity.”

Eben Ezer Assisted Living & Memory Care Brush, Colorado

Eben EzerEst. Completion Date: February 2018

This project is comprised of a 1 and 2-story light gauge load-bearing building. Eben Ezer recognized time savings of over 30 percent compared to a traditional site-framed project.

Lochsa Engineering was the light gauge engineer and value designed the stud framing and helped to panelize the project which got this project erected on schedule.

Fastwalls’ scope of work included the supply and installation of exterior and interior axial load-bearing steel stud wall panels; including built up jambs and headers. In addition, CFS shear wall panels were supplied and installed.

Holiday Inn Express Blue, Aurora, Colorado

Holiday Inn

Est. Completion Date: TBA

This project is a 6-story light gauge load-bearing building. The first floor is a combination of load-bearing studs and steel framing, which allowed for an open framing concept. Lochsa was the light gauge engineer and value designed the load-bearing stud framing and helped panelize the project.

The Fastwalls scope of work for Holiday Inn Express Blue consisted of supply and installation of exterior architectural bump-outs, small roof joists and all exterior walls above the roof line. In addition, we supplied exterior and interior load-bearing steel stud wall panels, including built up jambs and headers.

Hilton Garden Inn, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Hilton Garden InnEst. Completion Date: TBA

Lochsa Engineering is the engineer of record for this project. This building will consist of 8 stories of light gauge load-bearing walls on top of a 3-story post tension concrete podium. Lochsa is integral in helping to design the aggregate piles that are required due to the specific soil conditions found on site. Lochsa also utilized multiple brace frames in the upper floors to help account for the lateral design of this building. This helped to keep the overall cost of the light gauge load-bearing walls down.

Proposing a Fastwalls prefabricated wall panel system in accordance with Lochsa Engineering’s lightweight design for the foundation saved the general contractor over $1 million. The combined effort proves that we are committed to being a competitive player in the construction industry.
