Fennemore, recognized as the fastest-growing Am Law 200 firm in the U.S., has signed a lease at The Current, Schnitzer West‘s 12-story contemporary office tower in RiNo, containing 240,000 square feet of commercial space. Fennemore will occupy two floors, bringing another high-caliber tenant to the property and contributing to the building’s vibrant atmosphere. This strategic lease signifies an exciting chapter for both parties and reinforces the building’s dynamic tenant mix.
Fennemore recently moved into the 35,000-square-foot space and will integrate employees from its other Denver office by September 1, 2024. The business law firm has nearly 700 employees and 327 attorneys across 19 brick-and-mortar offices in six states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Nevada, Texas and Washington. Approximately 80 of its team members will be located at the new RiNo location, gathering the downtown Denver team under one roof.
“Our firm is entering an exciting chapter as we come together in RiNo. Our new location at The Current places us at the heart of one of Denver’s most creative and vibrant neighborhoods, which fits seamlessly with our culture of growth and innovation,” said James Goodnow, CEO at Fennemore.
Denver Office Managing Partner, John McHugh, added, “At The Current, the emphasis on collaborative workspaces and wellness amenities supports our goals of nurturing talent, enhancing employee satisfaction, and bolstering retention. We’re committed to making Fennemore the best place to work for our attorneys and staff.”
Located on the corner of 36th and Delgany Street, The Current opened in 2023, The Current features eight floors of office space, two levels of underground parking, four levels of above-grade podium parking and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of the Denver skyline and the Rocky Mountain Front Range.
“We’re delighted to welcome Fennemore to The Current. Attracting esteemed organizations like Fennemore that seek the best amenities and work environments to recruit and retain their talent underscores our dedication to creating top-tier commercial spaces that enhance our tenants’ businesses. We look forward to seeing the positive impact Fennemore will have within our building and the broader RiNo community,” said Kyle Flippen, investment director at Schnitzer West.
