AURORA —This week, Gaylord Rockies Resort & Convention Center officially opened its doors as the largest combined resort and convention center in Colorado.
Just 10 minutes from Denver International Airport, the resort is the fifth Gaylord Hotels® property and one of the largest resorts in the world to debut under the Marriott International brand this year. HKS Architects — named one of the top five architecture firms in the U.S. for 2018 by Architectural Record — designed the resort.
Gaylord includes 1,501 rooms, eight restaurants, 485,000 square feet of convention center space, and a 22,000-square-foot indoor/outdoor water park on a sprawling 85-acre site. For major convention planners and travelers (both business and leisure), Gaylord Rockies redefines and reimagines what a large-scale resort can be.

More than 2 million visitors are expected to visit the resort over the first several years and an impressive 1.1 million room nights are already booked.
