DENVER— GH Phipps and its employees have adopted a family in need for the holidays. Working with Children’s Hospital, the company is donating gifts and clothing to the blended family of nine, with seven children. Three of the children have had kidney transplants due to a rare disorder, making the time and expense of holiday shopping all the more challenging.

“Our company has a history of being actively involved in the community and we have a team of incredible employees who are always willing to find ways to help people in need,” said Holly Abma, special projects team member.  “The adopt-a-family program with Children’s Hospital Colorado provides us with the opportunity to make a family’s holiday very special.”

GH Phipps received a wish list from the family and had a company breakfast to make holiday shopping plans.  The gifts were delivered prior to Christmas and provided the family and children with a special holiday season that they wouldn’t have otherwise enjoyed.
