GH Phipps joined the Town of Windsor, the Weld RE-4 School District, and DLR Group (the architect for the project) to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new Windsor Middle School.
The new 154,864-square-foot, $70 million school will accommodate 900 students and is located adjacent to a future town park. Features include 300-student Small Learning Communities (SLCs) that offer student gathering and collaboration spaces adjacent to classrooms, technology resources, teacher work areas, support offices, innovation commons and design labs. Students will also enjoy culinary and industrial arts classrooms, sports fields, a sports track, outdoor play area, tennis courts, outdoor classrooms, and community gardens.
Construction is scheduled for completion in June 2025.
