Colorado Springs, CO – Gilbane Development Company broke ground on West Edge, a 187 unit housing community directly across the street from the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs campus. The architect for the project is Kitchen & Associates and the General Contractor is KBS. Asset Campus Housing will manage the property, set to open in August 2017.
West Edge will include eight different floor plans ranging from studio apartments to six-bedroom units. Amenities for the property include a rooftop sky lounge with views of Pikes Peak, a heated-salt water pool, and a wifi tech center with high powered computers and free printing,
Other property features to attract residents include access to a state-of-the art fitness lodge with tanning beds, free weights and cardio equipment, a yoga studio, bouldering wall, and full-size basketball court. All apartments include in-unit washer/dryer, walk-in closets, stainless steel appliances, granite counter-tops, and flat screen TVs.
