Howell Construction recently celebrated the groundbreaking of Grace Chapel Castle Rock, marking a significant milestone for the community. The facility will be located a short distance west of the current place of worship adjacent to I-25 in North Castle Rock.
This Lee Architects design, which is just under 15,000 square feet, will provide an expansive modern worship space. One of its key features is its proximity to the existing space, allowing members to witness the construction progress from start to finish.
The project will include a large worship center, a production room, a front-of-house booth, storage areas, security space, and state-of-the-art audio, visual, and lighting systems. A generous lobby will welcome visitors with a coffee bar, information center, and restrooms, creating an inviting atmosphere for fellowship. Additionally, the facility will house classrooms for youth teaching, a nursing room, a resource center, and a spacious gathering area. The entrance to the building features a welcoming courtyard.
“This congregation has been waiting four years for this project to start. Howell considers it a privilege to be on the team to see their dream become a reality,” said Andy Stewart, vice president of Howell Construction.
