Gravity Haus, the award-winning adventure-lifestyle hotel group and membership club, will take over operations and management of Life House Lower Highlands Hotel and its restaurant, Wildflower. The newly named Gravity Haus Denver Hotel transitioned operations on September 1. This addition ushers in an exciting new chapter in the Gravity Haus expansion by providing members and guests with a full Gravity Haus experience in the LoHi neighborhood in Denver.
“Many of our members spend a significant amount of time in Denver and while most are using their memberships for adventure in our mountain locations, this adds a homebase in the city that members have been asking for,” said Mike DeFrino, president of Gravity Haus, Inc. “Adding a hotel concept in Denver levels up our membership offering, establishing the city as a vibrant urban anchor for our growing community.”
Gravity Haus Denver Hotel will be the first Gravity Haus in an urban setting, creating a Denver hub where mountain locals and travelers can linger longer – staying close to concerts, theater nights, and the city’s endless lineup of festivals and cultural experiences. The Gravity Haus Hotel will maintain many of the features and amenities of the existing hotel, but with the signature Gravity Haus touch and complimentary access to the Denver ClubHaus for hotel guests.
“The existing hotel design and aesthetic are very much aligned with the Gravity Haus brand, making this transition fairly seamless,” added DeFrino. “Like all Gravity Haus properties, location is key and LoHi offers easy access to the top concert and sporting venues, museums, and the best restaurants in the city.”
The property includes 17 guestrooms and is located at 3638 Navajo St., a short distance from the recently opened Gravity Haus Denver ClubHaus, which includes expanded fitness facilities and group fitness classes, co-working space, private offices, and a members’ lounge. Members and guests will enjoy access to both facilities, which are approximately one mile apart. The hotel has delighted guests over the years, ranking as one of Conde Nast Traveler’s “Best Hotels in the World”.
Anchored in the hotel is the award-winning restaurant and bar, Wildflower, helmed by acclaimed chef Aiden Tibbetts. Known for his deeply seasonal, ingredient-driven cooking, Tibbetts has built a following for Wildflower’s plant-forward approach, exquisite cocktails, and natural wine selections. A Denver native, Tibbetts brings a reverence for local agriculture, heritage recipes, and the surrounding Western landscape to every plate. His culinary perspective draws influence from the neighborhood’s historic Italian and Mexican roots, while incorporating modern techniques and thoughtful sourcing practices that reflect the ethos of Colorado’s contemporary food scene. Recently named one of OpenTable’s 2025 “Top Hotel Restaurants,” Wildflower offers a dining experience recognized among the best in the country.
“At Wildflower, we’ve always strived to create a dining experience that’s both rooted in place and constantly evolving,” said Tibbetts. “Partnering with Gravity Haus opens up even more opportunities to connect with a community that values adventure, sustainability, and shared experiences, which is exactly the spirit our food is meant to reflect.”
The property will now be under Gravity Haus management to complement its existing collection of adventure-centric properties across Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and California. The new Gravity Haus Denver Hotel location reflects Gravity Haus’ dedication to sustainably connecting people with nature and fostering a sense of community among outdoor-minded individuals.
