DENVER — Elati Hotel LLC hosted a ceremonial groundbreaking on Jan. 19 for a new Element by Westin hotel at 1314 Elati Street in Denver’s historic Golden Triangle Neighborhood.
Scheduled to open in Spring of 2019, the hotel will be operated by H&H Hotels under license from Marriott International, Inc or one of its affiliates. The Element Downtown Denver East Hotel will be the second hotel constructed in the Golden Triangle.
Elati Hotel’s development team is comprised of two Colorado based developers, H&H Hotels and Alliance Investments, as well as equity partner Promanas, a Michigan based company.
The hotel will be a 157-room, LEED Certified extended stay hotel designed and constructed by The Beck Group. Security Service Federal Credit Union will provide debt financing for the project, which will cost approximately $40 million to develop.
“We are honored to be the architect and contractor of this exceptional project,” said Doug Spuler, a managing principal at The Beck Group. “We designed the building to fit contextually within the urban fabric of the Golden Triangle. We used quality materials in a modern design aesthetic to match the brand and overall vibrancy of the area.”
Located within walking distance of the Convention Center, Justice Center, Denver Library, Art Museum, History Colorado Center and the State Capitol, the Element Downtown Denver East Hotel will provide an exceptional extended-stay option to families, professionals and large groups traveling to the Denver-Metro area. It will also provide permanent residents of the Golden Triangle a stunning venue to grab a drink with friends, host a family gathering or book a business meeting.
