CASTLE ROCK — Colorado-based design-build firm The Neenan Company has broken ground on Premier Members Credit Union’s (PMCU) first branch office in Castle Rock. The project represents PMCU’s entrance into the Castle Rock market, as well as the first project between PMCU and The Neenan Company.
Founded in Boulder almost 60 years ago, the not-for-profit financial institution’s expansion into Castle Rock marks its 13th retail branch location.
The 3,815-square-foot facility will be located at 6355 Promenade Parkway in Castle Rock is expected to be complete in May 2019.
“As PMCU continues its growth, The Neenan Company is pleased to help bring the credit union’s first branch location to Castle Rock and the surrounding area,” said David Shigekane, president of The Neenan Company. “The new facility’s artisanal design strikes a balance between modern innovation, timeless craftsmanship and honest detailing.”
The one-story, full-service branch location will include office space, a break room and a community room with a large conference area that can be configured into multiple layouts for additional functionality. The new facility will also feature a drive-thru and convenient drive-up ATM. Vast windows allow natural light to flow into the spaces and support the credit union’s emphasis on transparency. Natural materials and break out spaces offer members spaces to enjoy coffee and the atmosphere.
As a flagship location for PMCU, the project will showcase the credit union’s artisan approach to banking, new design model and updated brand prioritizing accessibility, personalized member service and individualized product offerings to the Castle Rock community.
