Haselden Builders, a subsidiary of Haselden Construction, officially broke ground on its latest project, The Landings at Gateway, in late December 2023. This new 89,000-square-foot multifamily residence brings 39 townhome units to the area surrounding Denver International Airport. The project is the final installment of an existing master plan for the area that includes both commercial and residential space. Adding more inventory to the already strained Denver market will help efforts to reduce the housing burden on the Colorado community.

“It is exciting to begin construction,” said Brent Haselden, president of Haselden Builders. “We have been working hard with the team to get to this point and there’s a strong relationship of trust between all the partners. The entire team has been amazing so far, and we can’t wait for these residences to take shape.”

Godden Sudik Architects designed the development that will feature 10 buildings, each offering two and three-bedroom units for rent.

As the Colorado population continues to boom, housing remains a strong market for the Denver metro area. Development is increasing exponentially along the I-70 corridor near Denver International Airport as Denver continues to expand east. This area has seen strong growth over the past decade due to its proximity to the city and ample land to develop.

“We’re already off to a great start on this project.” Keith Dentremont, senior project manager for Haselden Builders remarked. “Now that we are underway, our focus is on quality and ensuring we continue to hit our schedule and budget milestones. I am thrilled to lead the effort from the Haselden Builders side as we transition into construction.”

Haselden Construction’s enterprise approach has proven successful with Haselden Real Estate Development, focused on commercial real estate in the Colorado and Southwestern U.S., and Haselden Restoration Services, its disaster restoration subsidiary. To learn more, visit Haselden.com
