Today, the Hispanic Contractors of Colorado (HCC) announced its endorsement of two candidates running for reelection to Denver City Council: Chris Hinds & Kevin Flynn. As a representative of small and diverse contractors across the state, HCC values candidates that share in the vision of bringing all voices to the table.
“HCC is supporting Chris Hinds in his re-election campaign so he can continue to be an advocate for small and minority business in Denver. He is the only candidate in the District 10 race who has a proven record of supporting policy that does not harm small business and ensuring they remain in business,” said Rosy Aburto McDonough, executive director of HCC. “He is also the only candidate endorsed by Denver’s public safety unions. Councilman Hinds has supported best value contracting to be implemented in Denver.”
