Hospitality at Work® Acquires Boulder-Based Keys Commercial

Hospitality at Work, a Denver-based commercial property management company and a wholly owned subsidiary of Lowe, has acquired Keys Commercial, a property manager and commercial brokerage based in downtown Boulder. Keys currently manages multiple institutional quality commercial properties in Boulder/Broomfield and in the Denver market.  These buildings will join the Hospitality at Work portfolio of properties under management.

Founded by Geoffrey E. Keys in 1984, Keys Commercial is distinguished by its comprehensive local market knowledge focus on people and relationships, teamwork and bottom-line results.  Keys Commercial has consistently been ranked in the top 25 commercial real estate brokerages in the Denver/Boulder market as compiled and reported by the Denver Business Journal.  These qualities align well with the Hospitality at Work high-touch, customer service centered approach to delivering a better workplace experience.

A native of Boulder, Geoffrey Keys is an active civic leader and enthusiastic supporter of the Boulder community.  Keys is currently on the Board of Trustees of Mile High United Way, and is a Board Member of the Dairy Center in Boulder

“For nearly 40 years, Keys Commercial has provided the finest commercial real estate services in Colorado.  We are honored to be entrusted with that legacy and to welcome the Keys Commercial team to our company,” said Marty Caverly, executive vice president of Hospitality at Work.

In addition to property management, Keys Commercial also provides commercial brokerage services to tenants and owners throughout the Front Range. In 1994, Keys founded the Commercial Brokers of Boulder organization, which serves the needs of commercial brokers in the area to this day.

Hospitality at Work is a wholly owned subsidiary of national real estate investor, developer and operator, Lowe, which recently launched a commercial brokerage division in Denver, Skye Commercial. The brokerage team from Keys, led by Geoffrey Keys, will join Skye Commercial, led by veteran Denver managing broker Alec Wynne, and will maintain and grow its long-standing presence in Boulder. The team will provide services across the Colorado Front Range.

“We believe the Hospitality at Work approach to the commercial real estate business complements and builds on our own relationships and people focused management philosophy. As we transition to the Hospitality at Work platform, our clients will see the same commitment to meticulous property and transaction management, and benefit from expanded programs providing high touch customer service and creative and tailored workplace experiences that define Hospitality at Work,” said Geoffrey Keys, president of Keys Commercial. “As we turn our focus to growing the management and brokerage business across Colorado, we do so with the certainty that our Keys Commercial clients remain in the best possible care.”

“Northwest Denver and Boulder are dynamic, growing markets where Keys has deep knowledge and experience. Together, we can expand our efforts to serve area businesses and companies looking to enter the market,” added Caverly.

Hospitality at Work currently manages in excess of five million square feet of office properties in Colorado, California and Washington, DC.
