Howell Construction was recently joined by HealthONE North Suburban Medical Center and AirLife Denver to celebrate the groundbreaking of the new heliport at North Suburban, the home base for AirLife Denver.
Designed by healthcare and commercial architecture design firm Path21, the project will add a new hangar and an apparatus helipad for service and landing, as well as landscaping around the building. The facility will house offices, a crew lounge, mechanical storage, laundry, utilities, clean storage, and general storage.
“North Suburban Medical Center makes the health of the Colorado community they serve their top priority,” said Howell Vice President Todd Berry. “Our team is proud to construct facilities that help them achieve their mission.”
AirLife Denver’s mission is to provide the highest quality, compassionate patient care, delivered with safe, appropriate transportation by a committed and expert team of professionals. AirLife operates four helicopter bases within Colorado, covering the Denver metro area as well as the Front Range and the Eastern Plains, extending into Wyoming, Nebraska and Kansas.
With construction underway, the project is on track for completion by Q3 2024.
