Howell Construction has completed IHS Markit’s 72,000-square-foot office consolidation project, located at 15 Inverness Way East, in Englewood. The London-headquartered global information provider consolidated offices to bring their employees together in a freshly renovated space.
Gensler’s unique architectural design added interest to the transformed office that consists of restroom enlargements and refreshers, the creation of additional open office space accented by focus rooms, huddle rooms, medium to large conference rooms, and a large community café where employees can congregate over coffee and snacks.
“Going into a 72,000-square-foot remodel with a 6-month schedule, I’d say the entire team was a little skeptical, yet ready to take on the challenge. Upon kicking off the project, it was clear we had assembled a high-performing team which consisted of an engaged client, creative architect, and dedicated superintendent. This project had its challenges, yet the teamwork and problem solving got us to the finish line on time,” said Tanner Thomson, project engineer for Howell Construction.
