Sprink Construction, a sister company to Denver-based Comunale Properties, has completed a full building, 93,000-square-foot tenant improvement project for Interstates, an industrial electrical solutions provider, at Comunale’s newly developed Mulberry Connection – the first Class A speculative industrial project to deliver in Fort Collins in 20 years.
This facility will serve as Interstates’ regional hub to support its growing client base and accommodate its expanding workforce.
Interstates’ relocation to Mulberry Connection marks a significant milestone in its commitment to better serving the greater Fort Collins market. The building features a 20,000-square-foot, Class A office space designed for in-office, remote and hybrid employees who design, build, automate, maintain and protect industrial and manufacturing facilities. The remaining 73,000 square feet of space is dedicated to Interstates’ prefabrication and manufacturing teams.
Fronting Interstate 25, Mulberry Connection spans 13 acres overall, with 164,200 square feet of fully leased industrial space.
“Our experience in high-quality tenant improvement and industrial projects makes Sprink well-suited to deliver this essential facility for Interstates,” said Sprink Construction President Josh Heiney. “We were thrilled to collaborate with Interstates and project architect Ware Malcomb to bring this project to life on a rapid timeline.”
Interstates committed to Mulberry Connection in late 2023, marking Northern Colorado’s largest industrial lease of the year.
Located at 3874 Redman Dr. in Fort Colins, the newly enhanced Mulberry Connection will support the growth and development of Interstates’ regional operations, aligning with their vision of providing leading-edge electrical and manufacturing solutions to clients of northern Colorado.
