Children’s Hospital Colorado recently welcomed its first patient at its newest location: Children’s Colorado Outpatient and Urgent Care, Southeast Aurora. With 16 locations in Colorado, this new facility in Southeast Aurora will have more than 50 providers across 20 different pediatric specialties.
JE Dunn Construction completed the renovation of the nearly 39,500-square-foot facility. This project was a major interior renovation of an existing two-story building to become a pediatric urgent care and outpatient multi-specialty clinic.
The new location includes 11 urgent care exam rooms, seven orthopedic/rehabilitation exam rooms, 16 specialty clinic exam rooms, as well as an outdoor sports field for its Sports Medicine clinic and an ophthalmology clinic with an in-house retail shop to make it a one-stop-shop for patients needing eye care.
