The National Sports Center for the Disabled (NSCD) announced today that this year’s JHL Kids Classic Golf Tournament, hosted by JHL Constructors, at The Ridge at Castle Pines North, raised more than $100,000 to support NSCD’s adaptive sports and recreation programs. With nearly 150 attendees, the event brought together community members, partners and supporters for a day of golf and giving.
“We’re grateful to JHL Constructors and everyone who came out to support the Kids Classic,” said Julie Taulman, president and CEO of NSCD. “This generous contribution helps us break down barriers and create life-changing opportunities for our athletes.”
NSCD has been honored to serve as a beneficiary of this incredible tournament for four years, following a brief pause in 2023 and 2024. The funds raised will directly support year-round programming that empowers children and adults with disabilities to experience the joy and freedom of outdoor adventure.
“Building on our long-standing relationship, we’re proud to host the JHL Kids Classic and partner with NSCD to make a meaningful difference,” said Ben Stellor, president & CEO at JHL Constructors. “This tournament is a fun day on the golf course and is about creating opportunities, building community and supporting adaptive athletes who inspire us all.”
The National Sports Center for the Disabled has been a leading provider of adaptive outdoor recreation experiences for the past 55 years. They are committed to helping individuals with disabilities, their caregivers and the broader community rethink ability. Through the power of adaptive innovation, recreation, and Colorado’s great outdoors, the NSCD is transforming lives, families and communities and creating a world that celebrates each person’s abilities.
