The Johnson & Wales University (JWU) Denver Campus will hit the market in September and CBRE has been hired as the exclusive brokerage service provider for the unique property. Located in the South Park Hill area, the campus is comprised of 13 buildings and approximately ±25 acres.

Johnson & Wales University was founded in 1914 in Providence, R.I., and has four campuses throughout the country. JWU acquired the first portion of the Denver campus in 1999. Located at the southwest corner of Montview Boulevard and Quebec Street, the site was formerly home to Colorado Women’s College. JWU welcomed its inaugural class in 2000.

CBRE’s Nina Farrell, Higher Education Specialist, and Karlen Beitman, CBRE’s Mountain States regional manager of Public Institutions and Education Solutions, will be marketing the site along with Martin Roth and Eric Roth of CBRE’s Land Services and Capital Markets platforms. CBRE will be soliciting buyers who will optimize the disposition strategies and realize the greatest value.

“Since JWU joined Denver’s higher-education environment, the University has been committed to positively contributing to the community. Keeping that commitment in mind, JWU is looking to find a buyer who will implement the highest and best use of the property so both the University and the surrounding community will benefit,” said Mr. Beitman, Mountain States regional manager of CBRE’s Public Institutions and Education Solutions division.
