This week, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, part of IHG Hotels & Resorts’ Luxury & Lifestyle Collection, joined Harvey Cleary Builders and KGD Architecture to celebrate the topping off of the new Kimpton Hotel at Belleview Station.
The 19-story, 155,970-square-foot hotel features 190 guest rooms and 14 suites over 14 floors. Anticipated to open in early 2024, the hotel is the third Kimpton hotel in Denver and will be the first boutique hotel in the neighborhood, serving the Belleview Station development and its surrounding businesses and local residents.
Owned by DTC Hospitality Investors, LLC, and developed by Cypress 16, LLC in conjunction with McClurg Century Investments, LLC, the hotel will be a new-build boutique hotel featuring 190 beautifully appointed guestrooms, including 14 suites. KARAMANN will outfit the entirety of the hotel’s interiors.
As with all Kimpton hotels, the hotel will feature amenities and services such as morning coffee and tea service, evening social hour, a “Forgot It? We’ve Got It!” program, on-site fitness facilities, and rare no-fee pet-friendly policies. Accompanying a ground-floor restaurant and bar, the 19th-floor rooftop bar and lounge will serve as a versatile entertainment space and offer indoor and outdoor access to expansive views of the Rocky Mountains, with specific sightlines from Pikes Peak to Longs Peak. The property also includes 7,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
“The City of Denver has been so gracious to Kimpton over the years. We really want this hotel to be one of the greatest in Denver, not just here in Belleview Station,” said Mike DeFrino, CEO of Kimpton Hotels and Restaurants. “I certainly got the feeling today just how important the restaurant on the ground floor, at the lobby level, will be for the entire project, but also for the neighborhood. Then, topping that off with a super entertaining rooftop bar with live music and beautiful views will really give us that right one-two punch!”
A booming economic trading center, DTC has become a gateway to the city’s southeast business corridor and a hub for the region’s high-tech industry. In recent years, thanks to the business expansion in the area, the neighborhood has also seen former downtown Denver residents migrating to the DTC and bolstering its residential population as well.
When it opens in early 2024, Kimpton Hotel at Belleview Station will join the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Salt Lake City, Kimpton Hotel Monaco Denver and Kimpton Armory Hotel Bozeman as part of the brand’s expanding footprint in the mountain region.
