Layton Construction, a privately held commercial contractor, has announced the opening of a new, larger Denver office on the eighth floor of 8101 E Prentice Avenue in the Denver Tech Center.
Layton Construction opened its first Denver office in 2019, but industry demand led the company to open a larger space in the Denver Tech Center seven years later.
According to the Colorado Energy Office, construction jobs will increase by 9% by 2034, adding more than 42,000 positions. This office will support the growing Colorado demand for healthcare, public infrastructure, and multifamily builds.
“This office is more than a new workspace; it represents our investment in Colorado, our belief in the future of this market, and our dedication to serving clients and partners with excellence for generations to come,” said Layton Construction Executive Vice President Cris Bryant.
The office features Rocky Mountain views and art installations from regional artists, including a massive one-of-a-kind bear mural in one of its conference rooms.
Clients, trade partners, friends, and family all got to experience the space for the first time at an open house the Thursday before Labor Day.
“This open house marks a major milestone not only for Layton’s healthcare team but also for our Interior Construction Specialists, Layton’s interiors arm, which has called Denver home for almost a decade,” said Layton Vice President Matt Kretzmann. “The office reflects our company’s culture: professional, enthusiastic, fun, and compassionate.”
Key projects for the Denver team include the UC Health Highlands Ranch Hospital, AdventHealth Castle Rock, and AdventHealth Castle Pines Canyonside.
