Local Developer Unveils Waterfront Community

Highland Development Company (HDC) is preparing to unveil its latest waterfront community in Denver. Berkley Shores is nestled between Berkeley and West Highlands, adjacent to Lake Pomponio and Clear Creek Valley Park, providing residents with a relaxing retreat from downtown Denver while still maintaining quick access to the city.

The community boasts 89 single family and townhome floorplans located on 10 acres of land within one mile of three RTD stations, Regis University, and I-25. All homes have a private outdoor space, low-maintenance exteriors and thoughtful landscaping.

KGA Studio Architects, a nationally recognized architectural studio specializing in innovative residential design, designed two single family floor plans and five townhome plans for Berkley Shores. “Thanks to the variety of product types and price points, Berkley Shores will be home to a diverse community. This is a unique opportunity for both first-time and move-up buyers. It gives people such as teachers and nurses the opportunity to own a new home within the community they work,” said John Guilliams, director of design at KGA.

“We are disrupting traditional real estate development and homebuilding. Our team is constantly working to find creative solutions to our city’s housing challenges. We pinpoint the places where people want to live and innovate attainable communities for now and for the future. We are excited to bring such an active community in the perfect location to the market with homes from the $300’s,” said Paul Malone, president of Highland Development Company.
