GH Phipps has announced the topping out of the new Marshdale Elementary School campus in Evergreen. The architect is Hord Coplan Macht.
The new 68,875-square-foot, single-story elementary school will feature a more modern atmosphere in the classrooms and common areas including the gymnasium, performance art area, and cafeteria. New improvements are being made to administration spaces in order to give teachers a stronger launching pad into educating their students. Exterior developments include redesigning the playground structures, landscaping, and upgrading traffic management patterns around the school.
Funding for the new Marshdale Elementary is thanks to Jefferson County voters and their support of the 2018 bond measure. Budgeted at $16.5 million, the new building is set for completion in the fall of 2022.
