Mortenson recently completed Festival Park in Castle Rock, a $6.9 million project offering a public gathering space and amenity for community events. The design from Design Workshop received public input to include amenities such as a pavilion, splash pad, fire pits and a creek-side picnic area.
Mortenson provided storm, water and sanitary sewer improvements along the creek. The project added two pedestrian bridges, site lighting, concrete, stream restoration improvements and landscaping along Sellars Gulch.
“As a member of this community I’m very excited to be a part of this incredible park, and we’re thrilled to see the public enjoy it during the annual Star Lighting event,” said Josh Williams, general manager for Mortenson’s civil and infrastructure markets. “We are committed to delivering beautiful park projects for local communities across the Front Range.”
