Mortenson, a leader in the Denver construction industry since 1981, has announced the completion and opening of its new Denver office in RiNo. This modern, four-story, 65,000-square-foot mixed-use building marks a significant milestone for Mortenson, embodying its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community engagement.
The Mortenson team relocated from their previous Denver space at 1621 18th Street. The new space located at 3083 Walnut Street, Suite 300, the new office brings various Mortenson entities together to serve customers, including Mortenson Development, Inc., Mortenson Properties, Inc., Mortenson Construction, BLUvera, and BLU54.
The building features three floors of Class A office space, ground floor retail, and a 95-stall parking garage. Designed in collaboration with Open Studio Architecture, it blends seamlessly with the industrial aesthetic of the neighborhood, highlighted by murals from local Colorado artists.
“We’re excited to call RiNo home,” said Brian Fitzpatrick, vice president and general manager at Mortenson’. “The energy here is incredible, and it’s not only where our people want to work but also where they want to spend time outside the office.”
With amenities including private outdoor patio spaces and state-of-the-art HVAC systems, the building will office over 300 Mortenson team members including Denver, sports, renewable energies, data center, and federal teams. Mortenson is also engaging with the community by leasing ground-floor retail spaces to local businesses.
The new office is a testament to Mortenson’s dedication to being the best place to work in Denver. “This move is more than a change of address; it’s a reflection of our commitment to our team and the community,” Fitzpatrick added.
The project is developed and constructed, as well as owned and occupied by Mortenson.
