Harris Kocher Smith Announces Promotion of John Stafford, PE

Harris Kocher Smith, a leading engineering, surveying, and utility services firm, recently announced the promotion of John Stafford, PE, and Mike Moore, PE, to the Board of Directors. Their addition solidifies company leadership and a commitment to customers and employees. 

Joining existing board members, Steve Kocher, PE (President); John O’Rourke, PE (Senior Vice President); and Aaron Murphy, PLS (Senior Vice President), John Stafford and Mike Moore add to the residential land development leadership the company is known for. This strategic move supports growth initiatives and clients throughout Colorado, Texas, Arizona, Utah, and beyond.

John Stafford, a principal and project manager, has been with the company since 2006. Starting as an intern, John’s dedication and expertise earned him a promotion to project manager in 2013. He oversees a diverse portfolio of projects in both Colorado and Arizona.

Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck Promotes Reid Galbraith to Shareholder

A member of the firm’s Real Estate Department, he is an adept dealmaker with a diverse background in a variety of real estate asset classes. He is a trusted advisor to some of the nation’s most sophisticated real estate and hospitality companies in their most complex transactions. Focusing principally on the hospitality industry, Galbraith represents clients in connection with acquisition, disposition, finance, management, franchising and development — assisting his clients to achieve unparalleled results that only are possible with counsel who has stood in the shoes of all parties at the negotiating table, be it a brand, management company, buyer or seller.

Hensel Phelps Announces Two Promotions

Hensel Phelps announced the promotion of Brandon Agnell to operations manager. Throughout his 23-year career, he has completed more than $3.2 billion worth of projects. As Operations Manager, Brandon will be responsible to Hensel Phelps’ clients for providing the leadership and vision crucial to the success of each project. Currently, Brandon is working on Meta’s Kuna Data Center project in Kuna, Idaho. Brandon earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering and Technology at Texas Tech University.

Hensel Phelps also announced the promotion of Denim Smith to general superintendent. Denim’s portfolio of work with Hensel Phelps expands over $1.1 billion of work throughout his 17-year career. As general superintendent, Denim will be responsible for project execution, the overall schedule, site logistics, forecasting and managing major obstacles, and ensuring efficiency and safety in the field within the Rocky Mountain Region. In his new role, Denim will be leading construction work in the Northern Colorado and southern Wyoming areas. Denim earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Management at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville. 

NavPoint Real Estate Announces Two New Members

NavPoint Real Estate Group announced the addition of two new members to its growing commercial real estate team to close out 2023.  

Alaura Gage

Alaura Gage; Marketing Coordinator:

Alaura Gage joins the NavPoint team via Michigan and Hillsdale College as our marketing coordinator, which encompasses digital media, brand resources, and print media, providing a range of creative assets for the NavPoint brand. Alaura is a Kansas City native whose passion for vintage clothing and concerts sparked a love of art and culture from a young age. She pursued her academic aspirations at Hillsdale College, where she studied Fine Arts and worked for the college’s marketing department. Since then, Alaura has worked on a myriad of creative projects, from short films to graphic design to photojournalism.

When she’s not in the office, she’s probably getting lost in a foreign country or on a trail. She’s looking forward to concerts at Red Rocks and skiing down a real mountain!

Jackson Naylor; Junior Broker:

Jackson after previously interning for Navpoint in the summer of 2022 had his sights set on becoming a commercial broker. Jackson returns to NavPoint as a junior broker where he aims to provide NavPoint clients with top-notch commercial real estate advisory focusing on industrial and retail product types. 

Jackson is a Colorado Native where he attended Rock Canyon High School in Castle Pines before receiving a division one lacrosse scholarship to Canisius College in Buffalo, New York. Jackson went on to play lacrosse all four years of college as well as earning his bachelor’s degree in Entrepreneurship. Now that Jackson is back in Colorado you can regularly find him in the outdoors whether it is hunting, fishing, or skiing.
