Wells Announces New Leadership in Mountain States Region
Wells, one of the largest prefabricated building solutions providers in the United States, has promoted Steve Kloos to president/COO of Mountain States.
A 27-year Veteran of Wells, Kloos has impacted many different aspects of the business and brings years of expertise in operational leadership. He started his career in the former Ready Mix Division, ascended to general manager, and most recently served as senior vice president of quality. In this role, Kloos became heavily integrated in all of Wells’ manufacturing operations, leading efforts related to quality control, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and the client experience.
Kloos will be responsible for preconstruction, sales, engineering, operations and field and installation services throughout the mountain states. While his ultimate responsibility is achieving revenue growth, optimal performance and profitability of his facilities, he will also seek to nurture and grow other leaders at the company.

Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation Appoints New VP of Capital Markets in Denver
Marcus & Millichap Capital Corporation, a leading provider of commercial real estate capital markets financing solutions, announced the hiring of Erik Franks as vice president of Capital Markets in the Denver office.
In his new role, Mr. Franks will originate commercial debt and equity transactions for an array of property types including multifamily, office, industrial, retail, seniors housing and hospitality. Over the course of his career, he has closed more than $2.2 billion in transactions and has long-standing relationships with capital sources including CMBS, insurance companies, debt funds, and banks. He has closed numerous complex financing structures including credit facilities, preferred equity, and tax credit financings.

Prior to joining MMCC, Mr. Franks served as a vice president with CBRE Capital Markets for more than 10 years.
Mr. Franks is a graduate of Arizona State University, where he earned a B.S. degree in Real Estate. He holds a California Real Estate license and is also a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association, Urban Land Institute, and ICSC.
