Chip Clarke Named President, Transwestern Commercial Services’ West Region

Transwestern announced that Chip Clarke has been named president of Transwestern Commercial Services’ West Region. Clarke assumes oversight of operational excellence, client service delivery and business development initiatives for the commercial real estate services business throughout California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Utah and Washington.

This new position is part of the company’s transformation to a broader, three-region approach to commercial services, which is designed to inspire high performance, capitalize on synergies and enhance client connectivity.

Clarke has served at Transwestern for close to three decades, holding senior leadership positions that have included local, regional and national oversight for Agency Leasing, Asset Services, Capital Markets and Occupier Solutions. He has been instrumental in Transwestern’s geographic expansion and the establishment of a Young Professionals initiative that brings together the next generation of leaders through networking, idea exchange, business development and community service.

 

Norris Design Promotes and Hires New Staff in Denver

Norris Design, a national planning, landscape architecture and branding firm, announced the promotion of Libby Kaiser to Associate and the hiring of Jeff Wohlfarth in the Denver office.

Norris Design’s Denver office is proud to welcome Senior Associate and Landscape Architect Jeff Wohlfarth. Jeff brings over 20 years of experience in landscape architecture, urban design and planning. His wide-ranging experience includes mixed-use, transit-oriented developments, civic, office, retail and residential developments, as well as open space, streetscape, park, plaza, hospitality, healthcare, and education projects. Jeff’s project approach emphasizes the importance of open spaces as catalysts for successful development and civic pride. He is currently working on Parterre, a garden-themed master planned community in Thornton, and East Village at Baseline, a 77-acre mix of townhomes, condos, apartments, low-income housing and small lot single family detached residences in Broomfield.

New Associate Libby Kaiser is a planner with a focus on creating places that are environmentally sustainable, socially equitable and economically viable. She joined Norris Design in 2016 and has 15 years of experience focusing on the revitalization and strategic growth of communities, including urban centers, commercial corridors, transit-oriented development, multi-modal transportation and comprehensive plans. Libby’s approach integrates conceptual and analytical problem-solving skills to develop creative and practical alternatives. Her current projects include the rezoning of A-1 Organics’ recycling center in Commerce City and Avilla Eastlake, a multifamily development in Thornton.

Savills Studley Exec Relocates to Denver Office

Savills Studley  announced this week that Scott Katcher has joined the firm’s Denver office. Katcher is relocating from the Los Angeles office and has 30 years of commercial real estate experience. He will serve as a Corporate Managing Director working closely with Vice Chairman, Director, Central Region Lead, Rick Schuham and the full Denver team.

“Scott brings a wealth of experience that will strengthen Savills Studley’s presence in Denver,” said Schuham. “He has exemplified exceptional professionalism, dedication to clients and active community involvement throughout his career, resulting in a strong reputation among businesses and industry peers. Prior to joining Savills Studley’s Denver office, Katcher worked in their Los Angeles office for 25 years. He has represented the interests of tenants in excess of 5.5 million square feet and has worked with clients such as Sanyo Fisher, Tetra Tech Inc., Northwestern Mutual, Adelphia Communications and the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in multi-market and multi-transactional requirements.

Small Giants Expands Leadership Team with Marketing Manager

Small Giants, LLC., a MarCom and OUTSIDE magazine award-winning creative marketing agency in Phoenix and Denver, has hired Jennifer White as marketing manager. White will be utilizing her background in traditional and digital marketing to employ strategic leadership and guide the Small Giants’ marketing team to deliver next level products.

During her 15 years of experience in shopping center development, White worked on national marketing strategies and advertisements, and championed public relations efforts, which were implemented at 75 shopping centers. Focusing on ground-up development projects across the country, she has worked on projects in Phoenix, Denver, New York and Santa Monica.

White was also employed with a home builder where she collaborated with teams from project conception to opening new communities, allowing her to work with a variety of disciplines from the construction design team to the financial team.

“By leveraging my experience in the commercial real estate industry, our team is working to offer more strategic product offerings with added value,” said White. “Through collaboration, we are providing better marketing support for our clients and assisting them in achieving their business goals.”
