NAVA Real Estate Development Promotes David Amedick to Senior Vice President of Construction

NAVA Real Estate Development, a Denver-based real estate development and investment firm known for its socially minded and sustainable approach, announced the leadership promotion of David Amedick from vice president of construction to senior vice president of construction.

“David brings immense value to the team with his strong industry relations and over 30 years of experience,” said Brian Levitt, co-founder and president of NAVA. “Having this level of construction expertise on our development team is invaluable as we pursue new opportunities in this market. We are confident that in this expanded leadership capacity, David will continue to find new ways to advance our offerings and help us continue to raise the bar for distinctive, healthy projects that provide dual economic and social returns.”

In his new role, Amedick will continue to oversee the management of NAVA’s development projects, building cross-functional teams, providing direction and leadership and overseeing the final design, budget, contract negotiations, construction and project delivery.

Amedick joined NAVA as the vice president of construction in 2019. His extensive background in multifamily, mixed-use, office, healthcare and education development will continue to inform NAVA’s expanding list of projects. In addition to his 25 years of experience, Amedick holds a Class A General Contractor’s License with the City of Denver.

As an active industry leader and advocate for sustainability within the built environment, Amedick is a LEED Accredited Professional and part of several professional organizations, including the Project Management Institute, International Code Council, U.S. Green Building Council, Associated General Contractors of America and National Multifamily Housing Council.

Scott is a fluid and collaborative team player through and through. His rare combination of technical savviness and laid-back nature make him integral to process and design development. A creative at heart, Scott brings original and precise ideas to the table both in-house and on projects. Scott earned his bachelor’s in architectural engineering from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

 

Norris Design Hires New Team Member in Frisco

Anthony York

Norris Design, a national planning, landscape architecture and branding firm, has announced the hire of Anthony York as an associate in its Frisco office.

Anthony joined Norris Design’s Frisco office as a landscape architect with 15 years of experience. He brings experience in a variety of project types such as single family, mixed-use, and parks and recreation developments. Anthony excels in managing projects from early concepts to successful completion. Currently, Anthony is working on Almont Resort, an affordable housing project in Gunnison County; Fox Farms, a master plan community in Larkspur focused on preserving natural landscapes; and the Yampa Comprehensive Plan, which will guide future development and strategy for the Town of Yampa.
