Matrix Group Hires Two New Employees
Matrix Group, Inc. (MGI) announced the addition of two new employees to their team. Lauren Quiram joins MGI as leasing agent, managing all leasing transactions within Matrix Group’s diverse portfolio of industrial, retail, and office properties. Melissa Parks serves MGI as executive marketing assistant, managing all marketing endeavors for the company, as well as aiding the president in office administration and process improvement throughout all departments.
Matrix Group is a full-service, privately owned commercial real estate company that provides property management, leasing, acquisition/disposition and asset management services. Matrix Group’s portfolio consists of approximately 1 million square feet of retail, industrial and office properties along the Colorado front range.
Prior starting with Matrix Group, Lauren Quiram was a part of Transwestern’s Denver Capital Markets team as an associate broker. In that role, Lauren assisted with sales transactions, new business development, and market research and analysis, as well as developed marketing collateral and campaign strategies. Lauren is a licensed real estate broker in Colorado and Washington and is also a part of National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP) Developing Leaders.
Melissa Parks moved to Denver just prior to her start with Matrix Group. Before her move, she spent nearly five years at Pike National Bank, a community bank in southern Mississippi, where she served as executive assistant and then marketing coordinator, working with the Strategic Marketing team to build and implement the marketing program for the bank. Melissa earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication from Mississippi College in Jackson, MS.
The Opus Group® Announces Promotion of Sean Cummings to Lead Denver Office
The Opus Group (Opus) has promoted Sean Cummings to lead the Opus Denver office. In this new role, Sean will be responsible for the leadership, development and overall management of the Denver office team and their work. He will also continue to lead industrial development in the Phoenix market.
“Sean has been a phenomenal member of our team in Phoenix, having orchestrated new developments throughout the Phoenix market,” said Larry Pobuda, executive vice president and general manager overseeing Opus operations in the western markets, including Phoenix and Denver. “I look forward to working with Sean in this new capacity leading our Denver team and leveraging the collective skills to bring value to clients in Denver and Phoenix.”
Sean has been part of the Opus team for five years and has 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, the last 15 years of which have been focused on ground-up development in a design-build model. Prior to assuming the leadership role in Denver, Sean led industrial development in Phoenix, including the Opus Airport Industrial, Longbow Gateway One and Goodyear Crossing Industrial Park projects, which at full build-out will total in excess of two million square feet.

Before joining the Opus team, Sean directed all ground-up development projects for the Phoenix office of Conor Commercial Real Estate. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in finance from Michigan State University. Sean also served in the U.S. Marine Corps Forces Reserve and is currently a member of the Urban Land Institute, Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association and serves on the Board of Directors at New Pathways for Youth.
