Michelle Liebling and Jon Gambrill Appointed to Co-Managing Directors of Gensler Denver

Gensler announced new leadership of its Denver office with the promotion of Michelle Liebling, IIDA, NCIDQ, LEED® AP to managing director. Michelle joins Jon Gambrill, AIA, NCARB, LEED® AP, who has served as managing director since 2013.

Collaborative leadership sets the firm apart, enabling Gensler to be strategic client partners and the innovator among design firms. As Co-Managing Directors, Michelle and Jon will be exemplars of this leadership model as they form a collaborative team, they will bring diversity of thinking and drive innovation to positively impact projects, clients, and staff. Michelle and Jon will each bring their unique strengths to their collaborative approach focusing on the continued growth of 75+ architects and designers that make up the Denver office. They are committed to nurturing client and community partnerships that have been central to the firm’s success since opening in Denver in 1973. Their leadership is evident in key projects helping to shape the future of Denver, including 16 Chestnut, 6900 Layton, Watershed, Boys and Girls Club, Prologis, Newmont, and Western Union’s new headquarters.

Michelle, previously a studio leader, brings 24 years of experience and is recognized for designing innovative workspaces across a range of industries from technology, media, financial and professional services to hospitality. She is recognized for her ability to create inspired design strategies that are tailored to support each client’s vision and business objectives.

Jon has been with Gensler for 20 years, with a focus on delivery of a diverse range of projects, from complex commercial office buildings both in the U.S. and overseas, to corporate headquarters and high-performance work environments. Engaged in numerous civic, community and industry organizations, Jon is actively involved in the Downtown Denver Partnership as a part of their Civic Ventures board and is the Chair of the Public Realm Council, and the Colorado Chapters of NAIOP, AIA and ULI.

 

CBRE Announces Two Executive Vice President Promotions in Denver

CBRE announced that Tyler Carner and Jeremy Ballenger with CBRE Capital Markets in Denver have been promoted to executive vice presidents. The pair are business partners and part of a market-leading team specializing in the leasing, acquisition and disposition of industrial properties across metro Denver.

“These promotions are a testament to the leadership and influence that Tyler and Jeremy have had on the Denver industrial market. Their commitment to creative solutions and in-depth market knowledge has allowed the team to earn a reputation for delivering outstanding client outcomes,” said D Bergin, managing director of CBRE’s Industrial & Logistics practice in
Denver.

Together Mr. Carner and Mr. Ballenger have participated in transactions totaling more than 37.7 million sq. ft. and over $3 billion in gross consideration. They have worked on some of Denver’s most-noteworthy industrial projects, including last year’s record-setting Colorado Industrial Portfolio sale and the development, lease-up and sale of Hub 25 in central Denver. Mr. Carner first joined CBRE in 2004, with Mr. Ballenger joining eight years later in 2012. Both have been recognized as multi-year CBRE Top Producers in the Americas, NAIOP Colorado Industrial Broker of the Year Finalists and DMCAR Heavy Hitters Finalists.

 

MOA ARCHITECTURE Announces New Hires

Kaye Mullaney

MOA ARCHITECTURE is pleased to announce that Kaye Mullaney, LEED AP, has joined as a senior project manager in MOA’s Denver office; Luis Martinez, AIA, NCARB, as a senior project architect; and Britney Sulzen, Assoc. AIA, as an architectural designer in the firm’s Casper, WY office.

Kaye Mullaney, RA, LEED AP has joined MOA as a senior project manager on the firm’s Healthcare Team. Kaye brings over 30 years of experience in design and project management for a range of clients, including healthcare, office, retail, and residential. A Registered Architect, Kaye holds a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver.

Luis Martinez, AIA, NCARB is returning to our firm as a Senior Project Architect. A native of Colombia, Luis has over two decades of architectural experience in designing educational and healthcare facilities.

Britney Sulzen, Assoc. AIA joins the firm as an Architectural Designer in the firm’s Casper office, bringing over five years of experience with a focus on municipal projects. Britney obtained her Master of Architecture from Montana State University. She was recently appointed Associate Director of AIA Wyoming.

MOA also announced the launch of a new website at www.moaarch.com. The new website is the result of an eight-month development process, which was led by MOA’s marketing team in partnership with web design and development firm Clique Studios.
