Pinkard Construction Promotes Jess Becerra to Senior Construction Manager

Pinkard Construction announced the promotion of Jess Becerra to the position of senior construction manager. 

Throughout his 16-year tenure with Pinkard, Jess has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in collaborating with and leading project teams. This promotion recognizes Jess’s outstanding contributions to our team and his unwavering commitment to excellence in every aspect of his work.

“Jess has built strong relationships internally as well as externally with owners and architects, offering solution-based ideas and creating value for our clients. I know his leadership, experience, and innovative thinking will have a positive impact on the entire project team,” said COO Blake Chambliss.

Jess’s ability to face challenges head-on and swiftly resolve problems has been instrumental in the success of numerous projects under his purview. His promotion reflects not only his dedication to excellence but also his adeptness in navigating complex situations effectively.

In his new role, Jess will undertake additional responsibilities including coaching construction managers and overseeing peer reviews of risk and logistical strategies across all projects. 

Jess expressed excitement about the opportunity, stating, “I am excited to step into this new role and continue contributing to the success of our team. I am committed to upholding the standards of excellence that Pinkard is known for and look forward to leading and mentoring our Construction Managers to achieve even greater heights.”

Dairy Block Hires Nate Couture to Serve as Marketing Manager

Dairy Block — the award-winning LoDo micro-district that is home to 11 shops, 19 restaurants, eight bars, a luxury coworking space, and The Maven Hotel — has hired Nate Couture to serve as marketing manager. 

Couture brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having most recently served as the marketing manager at the McGregor Square entertainment complex. He also previously served as the director of marketing for Colorado’s Branch & Barrel Distilling, an award-winning craft bourbon maker. A graduate of the Art Institute of Colorado, Couture is not only a skilled graphic designer but also brings a passion for marketing and event management.

In his capacity at Dairy Block, Couture will lead the marketing initiatives and drive the planning of special events – including the upcoming Game Day on the Block activation on April 5th for the Colorado Rockies Opening Day, the June celebrations for Denver PrideFest 2024, and the return of the live music and art series in the activated alley this summer.

Dairy Block is a progressive experience of curated art, shopping, dining and drinking destinations in the heart of LoDo. Developed by McWHINNEY, Sage Hospitality and Grand American, Inc., Dairy Block is home to a wide variety of restaurants & bars, an eclectic shopping mix featuring local boutiques & top national brands and the independent 172-room Maven Hotel. 

HC Noll Named General Manager at The Source Hotel + Market Hall

The Source Hotel + Market Hall — the award-winning hotel in Denver’s popular RiNo Art District — announced that HC Noll is now serving as general manager.

Noll joins The Source team from Sonder Inc., where he most recently served as a senior operations manager. A graduate of Chico State University with a degree in Resort and Lodging Management, Noll previously spent more than eight years with Marriott Vacations Worldwide, where he held multiple positions, including director of room operations and Western region operations manager. 

Managed by Crescent Hotels, The Source Hotel + Market Hall is a collection of independent retailers and restaurants, along with a design-forward boutique hotel. Formerly home to an iron factory, this innovative hotel offers 100 stylish guest rooms, each featuring a Scandinavian meets Japanese design aesthetic with custom Baltic birch casework, high ceilings and polished concrete floors. A member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts Lifestyle collection, the dog-friendly Source Hotel features a rooftop plunge pool and hot tub, a modern fitness center and a rooftop restaurant offering panoramic views of the Denver skyline.

Event spaces at Silver LEED Certified hotel include the 2,300-square-foot RiNo Ballroom, which features roll-up glass garage doors that open to beautiful Rocky Mountain views and a built-in bar/food service area. 

The Source hosts an extensive mix of community events each month, including a First Friday Art Show, wellness workshops and a Makers Market featuring local artisans and musicians.
