SideCar PR Expands Creative Team with Key Hires

SideCar Public Relations, a full-service communications firm specializing in commercial real estate, community building and placemaking, recently announced the expansion of its creative team with the hire of Bradford (Brad) Todd, who will serve as senior creative director overseeing the firm’s branding, website, multimedia and social media services.

“Brad’s wealth of experience as both a business leader and a design and branding professional make him an ideal fit for growing our creative practice area,” said Sarah Cullen, president and founder of SideCar PR. “His work reflects an intuitive ability to synthesize and distill a client’s brand identity into clear and compelling visuals. As the lead of SideCar’s creative team, we look forward to working with Brad to build out more robust visual communications services to help our clients push their creative boundaries.”

With 14 years of experience in brand strategy, web design and graphic design facilitation, Todd will focus on providing creative direction on client projects, developing brand standards and guidelines, as well as designing digital and print collateral. Prior to joining SideCar, Todd founded and managed This\That, a successful brand strategy and design agency based in Denver and Habitat, an independent design studio.

In addition to Todd, SideCar has furthered its creative capabilities with the hiring of Bruce Tetsuya, lead photographer/videographer, and Kristen Lakey, account director. Tetsuya joined the team with six years of experience as a freelance videographer. His short films have garnered international acclaim at several film festivals, and he is currently in early pre-production stages for his first feature film. Lakey brings a decade of strategic and creative marketing, brand management and communications experience to SideCar and its clients. Much of her career has been spent in the A/E/C industry, giving her in-depth insight into the unique challenges and opportunities in the ever-evolving built environment.

Senior Associate Joins CBRE’s Boulder Office

CBRE announced that Leslie de Haas has joined its Boulder office as a senior associate specializing in landlord and occupier representation. De Haas will focus on the leasing of office, life sciences and industrial properties across the northwest corridor, working with Erik Abrahamson. 

De Haas brings 10 years of experience in commercial real estate with much of her career to date spent on the institutional owner side of the business. She was most recently an asset manager at JAGreen Development, where she managed leasing, site development and investor relations for a 260-acre site with more than 4 million sq. ft. of planned industrial development. Prior to JAG, she worked for Mapletree as the first U.S.-based employee designated to help launch a U.S.-European industrial real estate investment trust (REIT) and fund with over $4 billion worth of assets under management.

To date, de Haas has worked on leases totaling a cumulative 6 million sq. ft. and capital transactions amounting to $3.6 billion.

De Haas is a Colorado native and graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder. 

 

JLL Capital Markets hires Alex Possick to join its multi-housing investment sales and advisory team

JLL Capital Markets has welcomed Director Alex Possick to its multi-housing investment sales and advisory team. Possick sits in the Denver office and reports to Managing Director Pam Koster and Senior Managing Director Jordan Robbins.

Possick will work alongside the current Denver Multi-Housing Investment Sales and Advisory team and will focus his services to Colorado and the western United States.

Possick has more than seven years of experience in the commercial real estate finance industry. Throughout the course of his career, he has completed over $3.5 billion in transactions across more than 19,000 units. Prior to assuming this new role, Possick served as Vice President at Northmarq and led their Colorado middle-market investment sales platform. Before joining Northmarq, he was an integral member of CBRE’s institutional multifamily capital markets team.  Possick earned his master’s degree in real estate from Georgetown University and received his Bachelor of Science in real estate from the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University.

McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C., an award-winning Colorado construction and family law firm, has announced that construction litigation attorney Carin Ramirez is joining the firm as special counsel.

Ramirez brings 12 years of legal experience to the firm and focuses her practice on civil litigation with an emphasis on defending construction defect lawsuits on behalf of corporate and individual clients including developers, general contractors and other construction professionals. Ramirez also has extensive experience in representing clients in all areas of personal injury defense, premises liability, environmental torts, wrongful death, negligent design, property damage, subrogation claims, contract disputes, bad faith and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining McConaughy & Sarkissian, P.C., Ramirez served as special counsel at a Colorado construction law firm where she represented clients in all phases of litigation including discovery, depositions, motions, hearings and trial.

Ramirez holds an engineering degree from Michigan Technological University, a music performance degree from Michigan State University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Colorado where she served as an editor of the university’s Law Review and represented clients through their Legal Aid Clinic.

 

Collegiate Peaks Bank Announces Promotion of Rich Mancuso to Vice President

Colorado-based Collegiate Peaks Bank, a division of Glacier Bancorp, is pleased to announce that the bank has promoted Rich Mancuso to vice president.

A 15-year Salida resident, Mancuso has more than three years of banking experience, focusing on small business and commercial loans for his clients and their growing businesses. Prior to his banking career, Mancuso worked for six years at a local insurance agency in Salida. He is a board member of the Salida Chamber of Commerce and the Chaffee Housing Authority.  Together with Collegiate Peaks Bank’s team, he is paving the way for Salida and Buena Vista businesses to realize their dreams.
