Aaron Calhoon Named Director of Operations for Mortenson Denver
Mortenson, a top-20 U.S. builder, developer and energy and engineering services provider, announced Aaron Calhoon has been promoted to director of operations on its Denver team.
“As our business in the Denver metro region continues to grow, it is critical that we have the right leadership in place to support our growth as a company,” said Gene Hodge, vice president and general manager at Mortenson. “Aaron is a true builder, an active mentor, and a passionate advocate for operational excellence on each and every on of our project sites. We are excited about the positive impact he will be able to make as director of operations here in Denver.”
In his new role, Calhoon will continue to work closely with William Gregor, Mortenson vice president of operations, to lead local operations for the company.
Since joining Mortenson full time in 2008, Calhoon has provided exemplary leadership on a wide variety of projects, including the St. Joseph Heritage Project, Fort Carson Brigade and Battalion Headquarters, Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center, the University of Colorado’s Visual Arts Complex and more. He has also worked on Mortenson Wind team and was most recently a key leader in delivering the Allegiant Stadium for the Las Vegas Raiders.
Task Project Management Strengthens Practice with Respected Industry Leader
Task Project Management (Task PM), a leader in project management services, recently welcomed Brad Boyle to its team. Boyle joins the practice as a senior project manager, focused on planning and constructing real estate solutions for the firm’s clients.
With more than a decade of experience in the commercial real estate industry, Boyle leverages his background in real estate finance and construction to provide clients with a comprehensive approach to project management, including establishing success criteria for each client, assembling full scope teams and developing strategy for successful execution.
In his previous role with JLL, Boyle served as an owners’ representative, managing entitlement, design and construction scope for a variety of clients and project types. He also provided development advisory services, including corporate campus development and consolidation projects, highest and best use and feasibility analysis, and master planning efforts for municipal redevelopments.
Boyle began his career at the Denver Urban Renewal Authority where he was responsible for the underwriting of projects seeking tax increment financing assistance. His projects spanned various product types and totaled more than $200 million in development cost.
Boyle earned a Master of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado Denver and a BSBA in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. He is a LEED Accredited Professional and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
Flyreel Appoints Todd Mulholland to New Chief Product Officer Role

Muholland is an industry leader with experience building companies from early-stage startups to mature companies across multiple industries, by defining and executing forward-leaning product strategies to drive business outcomes and customer satisfaction. Most recently, Mulholland was head of Product and Technology at MoneyGeek, where he successfully launched several new insurance verticals in auto, home, and renters insurance. Prior to MoneyGeek, he founded several consumer-focused SaaS-based companies and served in a variety of product leadership roles at companies including Vrbo, Avalara, and ClearlyBooked.

MDH Law Group Hires New Real Estate Attorney
Joey Lubinski, a Denver real estate transactional attorney, has joined MDH Law Group from Husch Blackwell LLP.
A veteran of several large law firms, Joey joins MDH to continue his diverse transactional real estate practice. A former chair of the Real Estate Section of the Colorado Bar Association and current member of the executive council for the American Bar Association’s Real Property Trust and Estate Section, he brings to MDH 18 years of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate transactions.
