Lukasz Dubaj Named Senior Business Development Manager for Mortenson Denver

Mortenson, a top-20 U.S. builder, developer and energy and engineering services provider, announced Lukasz Dubaj has been promoted to senior business development manager on its Denver team.

“The talent we cultivate on our leadership team is one of the keys to our success and our ability to consistently exceed client expectations,” said Gene Hodge, vice president and general manager at Mortenson. “Lukasz brings skill, drive and a strong ability to see the big picture during initial project planning, combined with careful attention to detail that makes for a consistently successful project experience. We look forward to seeing the contributions he’ll be able to make to the team as a senior business development manager.”

In his new role, Dubaj will continue to work closely with Brian Holland, director of business development, to focus on strategic positioning and procurement for all infrastructure projects in Mortenson’s Denver office. He’ll focus on driving sales in Mortenson’s target markets, as well as reducing risk through systematic selection of markets, customers and projects.

Dubaj joined Mortenson in early 2018 as project engineer before being promoted to business development manager in March of 2019. He has managed due diligence and executed project positioning plans and proposals for Mortenson projects across the country, including RidgeGate Parkway Widening Phase 2 in Colorado. Prior to joining Mortenson, he was involved in projects for the McCook Reservoir in Illinois, the Deep Rock Tunnel Connector in Indiana and more.

Anderson Hallas Architects announced the promotion of Priscilla Gomez, office manager, to associate with the firm.

Priscilla joined the Anderson Hallas team in 2019 and is inspired by the team’s commitment to the firm’s work. She is excited by the firms perseverance and is frequently implementing creative ways for them to stay connected. Operationally, Priscilla is actively working to streamline inefficiencies and maximize long term planning, building upon the efforts of the team. She has proven her dedication to the firm through her initiative and leadership.

With a passion for growth and development, Priscilla enthusiastically engages individuals to support them in their own journeys – both within the firm and though her community work. She currently volunteers with Strive Prep, Young Latino Philanthropists, Latino Leadership Institute, and recently began working with Girls on the Run of the Rockies.

 

The RMH Group Welcomes Stan Wells, Technology Systems Leader, to the Firm

The RMH Group announced the addition of Stan Wells, RCDD, to the firm as technology systems leader.

Mr. Wells is a BICSI-certified Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) with a comprehensive perspective to technology systems design. He brings to the firm a solid knowledge base of structured cabling, audio visual, and security system design, as well as systems integration and coordination. His noteworthy projects include Ralph L. Carr Colorado Judicial Center, NREL Research Support Facility (RSF), CU Anschutz Health and Science Building, CU Boulder Williams Village East Residential Hall, Children’s Hospital Colorado Springs, and multiple Microsoft Cloud Service data centers.

National Business Law Firm Messner Reeves LLP Welcomes Partner Reagan Larkin

Messner Reeves LLP, a national business law firm, has announced that Reagan Larkin, a real estate litigation attorney, is joining the growing firm as a partner at its Denver office.

“Reagan is a seasoned litigator who practices in commercial and real estate litigation with experience in all stages of the process, from initial investigation through discovery, trial, and appeal,” said Jim Smith, president of Messner Reeves LLP. “She will help further enrich our real estate division with her knowledge, entrepreneurial spirit and guidance.”

Larkin has represented individuals and entities before state and federal courts and on appellate matters before the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court.

For more than 10 years, Larkin has also litigated a range of commercial and business-related matters such as contract disputes and business tortes. She’s worked directly with commercial and residential real estate disputes related to leasing, acquisitions, dispositions, covenants, easements, liens, development, zoning, land-use and property rights.

Larkin is a committee member of the Financing and Fundraising and Programming Committees for Denver MAMA. She is also an associates campaign participant and associates advisory board member for the Legal Aid Foundation of Colorado. She serves on the Colorado Women’s Bar Association as a public policy committee member since 2017 and has been a programs committee member since 2019.

A graduate of the University of Boulder, she earned her JD degree at Washington University. In her time there, she served as the executive articles editor for The Journal of Law & Policy and as a student attorney in the Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic and the Civil Rights, Mediation & Community Justice Clinic.

An active member in the community, Reagan has supported Girls on the Run for over eight years as a running coach and ambassador.

 

JVA, Incorporated Announces New Project Managers in Fort Collins and Boulder

JVA Consulting Engineers announced that Tracy Lawless, P.E., S.E., has joined the firm as a civil senior project manager in our Boulder office. JVA is also excited to welcome Cristy Helmick, P.E., S.E. as a structural project manager and Toni Swiontek, P.E. as a civil project manager, both in our Fort Collins office.

Tracy M. Lawless, P.E., S.E. has been hired by JVA, Inc. as a senior project manager. Tracy will be based at the Boulder Office. He has 34 years of civil engineering experience, with a primary focus in transportation and storm water management systems. Tracy has a long history working with municipal and county government, as well as institutional and private clients.  He will manage JVA civil projects and assist with municipal client business development.

Toni M. Swiontek

Cristy G. Helmick, P.E., S.E., has been hired by JVA as a project manager. Cristy will be based at the Fort Collins Office. She has 14 years of structural engineering experience, planning, scheduling, and coordinating industrial, commercial, healthcare, aviation, and education projects. Cristy will manage a variety of JVA structural projects, supervise engineering staff to support project objectives, and assist with client development.

Toni M. Swiontek, P.E. has been hired as a project manager in JVA, Inc.’s Fort Collins Office. She has over 19 years of civil engineering experience, with a primary focus on storm water management and land development. Toni has a long history working with institutional and private clients and has worked on residential, commercial, industrial and institutional projects. She will manage a number of JVA civil projects and will assist with client development.
