Design Workshop Announces 2020 Principal & Associate Promotions
Design Workshop, an international landscape architecture, planning and urban design firm, has promoted three people in its Denver office. Chris Geddes was promoted to principal, Jamie Fogle was promoted to technical principal, and Alex Hill was promoted to associate.

A planner and urban designer, Chris Geddes is driven by the desire to provide clients and community members a meaningful voice in the planning and design of public spaces. Alex Hill is a landscape designer and urban planner motivated by storytelling and form-giving that expresses the cultural and environmental conditions specific to each site. Jamie Fogle is a landscape architect and urban designer with 23 years of experience in the built environment. Fogle leads all firm-wide quality management initiatives with a keen focus on technical proficiency and project execution.

SKIDATA Names Matt Gambardella Sales Manager for Denver Office
SKIDATA has named Matt Gambardella to oversee sales for the company’s Denver office. In his new role, Gambardella will manage all new business development and project management throughout Colorado. He joins the Denver office from SKIDATA’s Las Vegas office, where he served as a sales professional.
“Matt is an experienced and accomplished parking technology leader who will be a great asset in Colorado,” said Chris McKenty, vice president of SKIDATA. “SKIDATA has a long and proud history of working with cities, institutions, and private owners throughout the state to provide the most advanced and driver-friendly parking technologies. Matt will be a terrific leader as SKIDATA continues to build upon that history of success in Colorado.”
In addition to overseeing SKIDATA’s business development and project management efforts throughout Colorado, Matt will also work closely with the company’s ski and special events access teams to create integrated technology suites permitting single-credential solutions for mountains, sporting and entertainment venues, and parking.

CBRE Promotes Pete Schippits to President of Advisory Services for the Mountain-Northwest Division and Welcomes New Vice President in Northern Colorado Office
CBRE has promoted Pete Schippits to president of Advisory Services for the Mountain-Northwest Division and hired TJ Antinora as vice president in its Northern Colorado office.

In this role, Schippits has executive oversight for 12 CBRE offices across nine states, including the metropolitan areas of the Denver Front Range, Puget Sound, Portland, Las Vegas, Salt Lake City and Albuquerque.
“Pete is a proven leader that has excelled in diversifying our capabilities, recruiting the industry’s top talent and delivering exceptional client outcomes in the Mountain States. He leads with vision, decisiveness and drive and will be a great guide for propelling our Mountain-Northwest division forward during these unprecedented times,” said Chris Connelly, group president, Americas Advisory Services, CBRE.
Mr. Schippits was previously senior managing director, Mountain States, for CBRE. He first joined CBRE in 2015 as Colorado’s market leader, where he doubled the firm’s local talent base, spearheaded the opening of a new Boulder office and managed the roll-out of CBRE’s global workplace strategy initiative—Workplace360—in four CBRE offices.
TJ Antinora
Based in Fort Collins, Mr. Antinora will represent clients in leasing and sales transactions. He brings nine years of experience working in the industrial, flex and retail property sectors.

Prior to joining CBRE, Mr. Antinora founded and co-led Antinora Real Estate. Before entering real estate, he served in the U.S. Navy for nine years as a naval aircraft carrier pilot. He served in the Iraq War and has flown operational missions in over 50 countries. He is a two-time recipient of the Navy Commendation Medal and was named the 2014 Greyhound Pilot of the Year for the Navy’s entire U.S. Pacific Fleet.
