Polsinelli Adds to Construction Practice with Three New Shareholders

Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli is growing its national Construction Practice with the addition of three new Denver-based shareholders, Steve Gurr, Adam Lewis and Cindy Lowery-Graber.

Adam Lewis
Steve Gurr

As new members of Polsinelli’s Real Estate & Financial Services Department, the trio brings decades of combined experience in construction and real estate law, including both construction and design contracts and complex construction and real estate litigation, and have been widely recognized for their work. The group will practice at the national level but has deep roots in the Colorado real estate community, providing a strategic opportunity to bring additional services to Polsinelli’s strong ensemble of Denver-based real estate clients.

“We are pleased to add the depth and experience of Steve, Adam and Cindy to our Construction Practice and look forward to the additional value they will bring to our clients not only in Colorado but also across the country,” said Amy Kiefer Hansen, Polsinelli shareholder and chair of the Real Estate and Construction Practices. “Real estate developers, as well as health care and corporate clients, continue to experience growth across the country, and the addition of these three attorneys further enables us to support our clients throughout the entire development process.”

Cindy Lowery-Graber

Of the move, Gurr said “Polsinelli’s robust national real estate and health care practices are a perfect fit for our client teams. We are thrilled to join the growing Denver office and national footprint and excited to support our clients with a full suite of real estate development, construction and financial services.”

The group also intersects with Polsinelli’s Commercial Litigation Practice, representing real estate development, construction and other commercial clients in a range of litigation and arbitration matters.

“Polsinelli’s litigation team looks forward to working alongside Steve, Adam and Cindy and to the additional strength they bring to our already deep bench of experienced litigators. Their approach is to let clients’ business goals drive the litigation strategy which fits well with Polsinelli’s overall approach to business litigation,” said Stacy Carpenter, shareholder and commercial litigation practice chair.

The addition of Gurr, Lewis and Lowery-Graber comes on the heels of other strategic additions to Polsinelli’s Construction Practice in Kansas City and New York earlier this year as Polsinelli continues executing on its strategy to build out the great strength of its local and national real estate related practices across the U.S.
